Ukrainian Fashion Week X London Fashion Week SS24:
KSENIASCHNAIDER, ELENAREVA, NADYA DZYAK Fashion Show

The Ukrainian Fashion Council and Ukrainian Fashion Week teams are sharing news about the continuation of the partnership with the British Fashion Council and London Fashion Week.

This season, within the collaboration between the organizations and within the framework of the “Support Ukrainian Fashion” Initiative by UFW, three Ukrainian fashion brands KSENIASCHNAIDER, ELENAREVA та NADYA DZYAK will introduce SS24 collections on September 19 in a joint show at London Fashion Week.

“The joint show of Ukrainian designers will take place at London Fashion Week for the second time. We are deeply grateful to the British Fashion Council and London Fashion Week, for the big support of Ukrainian designers.
To create in contrast to the destruction brought by Russian aggression. In this, designers see their mission and we remain true to our mission – to support and promote the Ukrainian fashion industry. To show the world that resilience and dignity are virtues not only of our warriors,” said Iryna Danylevska, Founder and CEO of Ukrainian Fashion Week, and Chairmember of the Expert Committee of the Ukrainian Fashion Council.

The FROLOV brand will also present the new SS24 collection in the main schedule of London Fashion Week as part of the “Support Ukrainian Fashion” Initiative by UFW. It will be the brand’s first separate show since 2020.

The presentation of Ukrainian designers is possible through the support by the USAID Competitive Economy Program.

About the collections:

The KSENIASCHNAIDER SS24 collection was created in the context of a new reality – a state of absolute turbulence, where all artificiality disappears and only the true form remains. This collection is about restoration and transition to a new state. It’s about the feeling of complete transformation in times of destruction, the search for new meanings through internal reflection and adaptation to new conditions.

In the SS24 ELENAREVA collection, the brand continues the story of female strength and in the new season turns to one of the strongest and energetically charged cults – the Mother Goddess. An otherworldly being that embodied the perpetual nature of life, our ancestors depicted her as an unwavering and fearless protector. However, ELENAREVA doesn’t stop at this embodiment of the sacred symbol. The delicate balance between the feminine and masculine, inherent to the brand, reaches a new level in the SS24 collection.

The SS24 collection of NADYA DZYAK is inspired by the images of imaginative paintings on the walls and ceilings of the house museum of the Ukrainian naïve art genius, Polina Raiko. Designer Nadya Dzyak was particularly inspired by the painting of three angels with yellow-blue-white flowers in their hands. The house-museum of Polina Raiko in Oleshky became a canvas for biblical heroes, fantastical creatures, and flowers, but now this house exists no more… Due to the collapse of the Kahovka Dam, the unique museum house ended up underwater…

To recap, in the previous season, Ukrainian fashion brands KSENIASCHNAIDER, PASKAL and FROLOV presented their collections in a joint show at London Fashion Week. The event took place within the global “Support Ukrainian Fashion” Initiative by Ukrainian Fashion Week, with the support of the USAID Competitive Economy Program.
