NewGen Lab: First Day Highlights

The first day of NewGen Lab — an innovative platform for experimentation and the development of young talents in the fashion industry — kicked off with a series of educational and discussion events. It was not only the beginning for designers preparing for their debut on the main runway of Fashion Week, but also a learning space where leading industry experts shared their knowledge with the new generation.

The day began with a Q&A session hosted by White Rabbit agency on the topic of effective marketing and strategic brand development, with speaker Yana Merkotan, Marketing Director of Kachorovska, and moderators Varvara Zikran and Maria Mokhova, co-founders of the agency.

The event also featured runway shows from brands KLIUZKO OUTFIT and KOSHTOVNOSTI by Lana Teslenko.

A special highlight was the public talk by ready2wear.agency, focusing on international PR insights, with participation from agency founder Elizaveta Zhornik, designer Yulia Yarmolyuk (J’amemme), Kostyantyn Omelya (OMELIA), Andreas Bilous and Andriy Moskin (Andreas Moskin), as well as invited experts Cindy Kerberova, fashion & beauty editor at Vogue Czechoslovakia, and Sean Ragoneau, stylist for the show Emily in Paris. The event combined a lecture on international publicity with a public discussion featuring designers and provided insight into ready2wear.agency’s collaborations with Adele, Coco Rocha, and Leonie Hanne.

The day concluded with a lecture titled “Fashion Without Barriers: Adaptive Clothing and Modern Design”, presented by Lilia Dermann, PhD, Head of the Department of Design at the Ukrainian State University of M. Dragomanov.

NewGen Lab started with a powerful surge of knowledge and insights, setting the stage for a new direction in the fashion industry.
