BOBKOVA at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin
On September 6th, Ukrainian brand BOBKOVA will present the SS23 collection with an opening fashion show at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin, with the support of the “Support Ukrainian Fashion” Initiative launched by Ukrainian Fashion Week.
“I would like to show the whole world the culture and uniqueness of Ukrainian traditions and crafts. In the new collection, you will get to see prints designed in collaboration with the artist Oksana Levchenya, she is a master in carpet making and tapestry,” said Kristina Bobkova, designer of BOBKOVA brand.
Between September 5th-7th, the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week takes place at „Telegraphenamt“ in Berlin Mitte. The new venue brings the event into the centre of the capital. The historic building underlines the new focus of New Luxury, Contemporary Boutique, and High Fashion. An exclusive setting places six designers‘ collections, one of which will be of Ukrainian designer Kristina Bobkova, at the heart of the event. Additionally, exciting partners and two-panel talks with renowned industry insiders make the MBFW Spring Summer 2023 a highlight of this year’s Berlin Fashion Week.
With the support of the Senate Administration, the role of the capital being an attractive venue for the fashion industry is strengthened, pushing the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week to be a lively forum for diversity, identification, and creativity. The support of the Senate Administration goes directly into the productions of Berlin design talents of Kilian Kerner, Lena Gerte, LML Studio, and MALŪNE by Frida Weyer, as well as the presentation of the Ukrainian fashion brand Bobkova.
The support for the Ukrainian Fashion Week is a joint effort of the Senate Department for Economics, Energy and Public Enterprises, Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, DER BERLINER SALON, Estethica, Fashion Council Germany, Neo.Fashion, and 202030 – The Berlin Fashion Summit collectively expressing their continuous compassion and solidarity with Ukraine.
BOBKOVA fashion show at MBFW Berlin will become the fourth event of the 51st International Season of Ukrainian Fashion Week.
