With the launch of the new season, Ukrainian Fashion Week announces an important leadership appointment: Yelyzaveta Ushcheka has been appointed CEO of Ukrainian Fashion Week, following five years as Head of the Communications Department.

It is especially important to us that the company will now be led by someone who has gone through this journey with us and with the team, working together to ensure that Ukrainian Fashion Week not only endured but continued to remain a leader of the industry — effective and consistent.

Today, we are all working together on the next important chapter — the 30th anniversary of Ukrainian Fashion Week,” comment Iryna Danylevska and Oleksandr Sokolovskyi, co-founders of Ukrainian Fashion Week.

Yelyzaveta Ushcheka joined Ukrainian Fashion Week in 2021. Over the following five years, her role within the organisation steadily expanded — from leading its media direction to overseeing the Communications Department, international communications, and Ukrainian Fashion Week’s special projects.

“It is a great honour for me to lead Ukrainian Fashion Week, and I am sincerely grateful to Iryna Danylevska and Oleksandr Sokolovskyi for their trust. Over these years, together with the team, we have navigated the post-COVID period, adapted Ukrainian Fashion Week’s operations following the full-scale invasion, delivered international seasons, brought Ukrainian Fashion Week back to Kyiv, and continued to develop the organisation despite all the challenges of the present.

It is important to me that Iryna Danylevska will continue her work within the team. I am confident that I will be able to ensure continuity in the organisation’s work and, together with the team, continue advancing the long-term mission of Ukrainian Fashion Week — developing and promoting the Ukrainian fashion industry in Ukraine and internationally,” comments Yelyzaveta Ushcheka, CEO of Ukrainian Fashion Week.
