On September 1, on the eve of Ukrainian Fashion Week SS27, the Organizing Committee of Ukrainian Fashion Week and JetSetter.ua brought together designers and fashion industry insiders for the Season Pre-Opening Cocktail, held in partnership with La Famiglia Catering at the exclusive River Lodge venue.

This season, the gathering carried a particular significance. Ukrainian Fashion Week SS27 begins under the extraordinarily difficult circumstances of a full-scale war, with the country’s fashion industry continuing to work amid constant air raid alerts and attacks. And yet designers continue to create new collections, teams keep working, and the professional community continues to support one another and move forward.

The Season Pre-Opening Cocktail became a moment to come together ahead of five busy days of runway shows and presentations at Ukrainian Fashion Week SS27. Not in defiance of the reality we live in, but with a full awareness of it — continuing to do what we do, create new work and shape the future of Ukrainian fashion.

La Famiglia Catering treated guests to an array of miniature bites that became one of the evening’s gastronomic highlights. River Lodge provided an intimate setting for the gathering, while floral arrangements by Sunflower added an elegant finishing touch. The Vyna Svitu wine house took care of the evening’s drinks selection.
