The official schedule will be announced in August.
The upcoming season of Ukrainian Fashion Week is dedicated to craftsmanship and its contemporary reinterpretation in the collections of Ukrainian designers. The season focuses on handcrafted work and artisanal techniques, highlighting their role in driving innovation while preserving cultural identity.
“Ukrainian designers’ ability to reinterpret traditional techniques and integrate them into contemporary design has shaped the unique voice of Ukrainian fashion. As a result, the Ukrainian fashion industry has forged a distinctive identity, while craftsmanship and artisanal techniques no longer belong solely to the past — they are shaping the future, transforming culture into a source of innovation and fashion into a means for preserving identity in a global context,” comments Iryna Danylevska, Founder and CEO of Ukrainian Fashion Week.

Mystetskyi Arsenal will host the Behind the Craft exhibition, exploring how traditional Ukrainian artisanal techniques transcend their ethnographic origins to become an integral part of contemporary design and fashion.
“The exhibition traces the journey of craftsmanship — from the artisan, their tools, and techniques to contemporary fashion and design brands that integrate traditional crafts into their creations,” says Yelyzaveta Ushcheka, Head of Communications at Ukrainian Fashion Week.
The exhibition is curated by Maria Gavryliuk and Natalia Kamenska, Co-founders and Creative Directors of GUNIA Project.
Since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the charitable component has become an integral part of Ukrainian Fashion Week. This season, the team continues the “Faces of Heroes” Initiative — a project aimed at helping Ukrainian defenders with mine-blast facial injuries. Its mission is to provide reconstructive surgeries that not only restore appearance but also give the chance for a dignified and fulfilling life. The project is implemented under a Memorandum of Cooperation between Ukrainian Fashion Week and the YANKO Charitable Foundation.
