UFW SS25: Khrystyna RACHYTSKA презентація

Khrystyna Rachytska’s new collection of exclusive evening wear combines traditional Ukrainian embroidery and tailoring with modern materials and techniques. The designer’s objective is to preserve and pass on the heritage of authentic patterns, some of which are over 100 years old, from previous generations, turning them into a symbol of resistance and spiritual strength.

The collection features garments made of traditional fabrics such as linen, hemp, silk, and wool, including women’s blouses, dresses, jackets, skirts, and pants. The color scheme of the collection primarily consists of black, gray, milky, and white, with accessories adding vibrant touches. Khrystyna Rachytska incorporates reinterpreted elements of traditional Ukrainian clothing, drawing inspiration from the culture of Boyks, Lemks, and Hutsuls. Traditional jewelry from Bukovyna, embroidered beaded ribbons, and “tongues” from Podillia are featured in the collection.

Through her designs, Khrystyna Rachytska seeks to redefine ethnic style, challenging modern stereotypes and emphasizing the significance of national clothing. Her work has garnered acclaim from connoisseurs around the world.
