Andreas Moskin presents their SS25 collection, drawing inspiration from the bohemian aesthetic and Ukrainian poetic cinema of the 60s and 70s, particularly the film the White Bird with Black Mark by Ivan Mykolaychuk and Yuriy Illyenko. Designers Andriy Moskin and Andreas Bilous explore themes of nostalgia for the forgotten and undervalued, as well as the conflict between the familiar and the foreign.

In keeping with tradition, the brand unveils a fresh interpretation of the classic men’s suit. However, this time the spotlight is on men’s blouses and shirts, which refer to the aesthetics of traditional folk attire. Tassels, fringe, raw edges and lace, which are common for boho, serve as the central elements of the decor. Along with the strips of eco-leather, these moving elements bring dynamics and fluidity to the designs.

“We decided to make linen the main material of this release to emphasize the effortlessness and lightness of our looks. At the same time, linen fabric highlights the rustic roots of Ukrainian culture,” says Andreas Bilous, co-founder of the brand. 

The designers combine modern silhouettes with traditional national ornaments. Thus, minimalist embroidery on the shirts adds asymmetry to the looks. The brand also reinterprets traditional accessories, bringing them into a fashionable form: a boater hat with eco-leather details and a unique shoulder bag add sharpness and asymmetry to the silhouettes. “The eco-leather bag is associated with a soldier’s harness, inevitably reminding us of our militaristic reality,” says Andriy Moskin, co-founder of the brand.
