SS27: Vorozhbyt&Zemskova show

For Vorozhbyt&Zemskova, the city has always been a starting point for a conversation about contemporary life. The new collection continues this theme by turning to the moment of twilight – a special time when day gradually gives way to evening, the familiar rhythm of the city is filled with anticipation of something new, and everyday life intertwines with celebration. Twilight becomes a metaphor for the transitional period we are living through today – a time of uncertainty, but also of hope and an inner confidence in the future. This state naturally finds its reflection in the way we live: we continue to work, take care of everyday matters and make plans, while also remembering to make room for joy, encounters and celebrating life. It is precisely this intertwining of the everyday and the extraordinary, reality and dreams, that becomes one of the key motifs of the new collection.

The collection’s palette unfolds as gradually as the city light changes: from black and deep blue-black to rich blue, electric blue and milky white. This contrast continues through textures and materials from dense wool to lightweight sheer organza and lace, from crumpled surfaces to smooth ones, and from heavy fabrics to almost weightless materials. The collection features silk, wool, cotton, polyester and viscose, which together create a diverse tactile composition.

Suits – both trouser and skirt versions – form the foundation of the collection. Elongated jackets with two or three vents, as well as cropped peplum styles, feature broadened shoulders and can be transformed with a belt. The trousers come in a variety of silhouettes: wide, slim and rounded. Skirts range from fitted styles falling just below the knee to long, wide and pleated silhouettes.

The urban wardrobe is complemented by voluminous jackets and short coats one wants to wrap oneself in, as well as trench coats – from lightweight and sheer to more familiar structured styles. Oversized shawl and notched lapels emphasize the architectural quality of the silhouettes.

Alongside structured pieces, light and airy dresses, skirts and blouses introduce a sense of movement to the collection. The festive mood is expressed not literally, but through details: a subtle shimmer of Swarovski crystals and threads, peplums and ruffles, and floral jacquard.

“The new Vorozhbyt&Zemskova collection is about finding balance. About living between what already exists and what we dream of; between work and rest, everyday life and celebration. And about the inner confidence that after twilight, a new day will inevitably come,” the designers share.
