Ukrainian brand SIDLETSKIY presented its newcollection “Woven by Nature” — an exploration of natural materials, tactile textures andtraditional handcraft techniques, reinterpreted through the brand’s distinctive structural approach and minimalist aesthetic.

At the heart of the collection is an idea of interaction between people, nature and material.

Linen, cotton, wool, textured surfaces and elements of hand weaving form a new material language for SIDLETSKIY.

The natural irregularity, rawness and tactility of the surfaces arenot concealed but become an integral part of the design. Traditional techniques meetcontemporary construction, bringing together the sense of craftsmanship with the precision of form.

At the same time, the collection continues SIDLETSKIY’s ongoing work with adaptiveclothing. In collaboration with U+ System — the Center for Prosthetics andRehabilitation, the brand developed five menswear looks designed to accommodate thespecific needs of people using prostheses. Functional solutions are integrated directly intothe garments, providing ease of dressing, access to prosthetic areas and freedom ofmovement while remaining fully integrated into the aesthetic of each look.

A further development of this idea was the collaboration between SIDLETSKIY and the “Zhyty Nazustrich” (“Living Towards”) platform. For the first time as part of the brand’srunway presentation, prosthetic covers were introduced, specially developed in the visuallanguage of the “Woven by Nature” collection. Their shapes, textures and natural motifsextend the aesthetic of the garments, integrating the prosthesis directly into the fashion look.

For SIDLETSKIY, this represents a continued exploration of a new aesthetic for adaptivedesign — one in which functionality is not separated from appearance. In this context, aprosthesis is no longer an element that needs to be concealed, but can become part of anindividual’s style and self-expression. Garment and prosthesis come together as a singlesystem, where function becomes part of form.

“For me, contemporary fashion is not only about form and aesthetics. It is aboutgiving people the opportunity to feel like themselves in what they wear. We want toshow that functional solutions can be an integral part of design, and that a prosthesisdoes not have to be hidden — it can become an element of personal style. That iswhy, with this collection, it was important for us not simply to adapt an existingdesign, but to create it from the outset with the individual and their needs in mind,”says Ihor Sidletskiy, founder and designer of SIDLETSKIY.
