Kachorovska presents a new collection inspired by the city as a space of power, movement, and personal identity.

The brand’s new Fall collection was presented as part of an installation occupying a gallery space in Podil — a district that has historically been at the heart of Kachorovska’s story. The large-scale composition was created from flexible galvanized metal sheets, transforming an industrial material into a metaphor for the rapid wave of urban life. Its architectural structure, in which rigid elements become fluid sails, evokes an ever-changing, almost illusory city, where sunlight travels through an endless labyrinth of reflections.

The installation was complemented by a live set from Kyiv-based multidisciplinary artist, composer, and performer Emma Hamza Grünwald (ÄSC3EA). Her practice focuses on experimental electroacoustic works expressed through audiovisual media and spatial sound, adding an immersive sonic dimension to the exhibition.

A separate room recreated the atmosphere of a Kachorovska designer’s studio, complete with patterns, tools, and materials. The exhibition also featured a teaser of an interview film with the brand’s Creative Director, Alina Kachorovska, exploring the process behind the new collection.

Positioned somewhere between Valerian Pidmohylnyi’s The City and the cult series Sex and the City, Kachorovska’s Fall collection — already partially available in the brand’s stores in Kyiv, Odesa, and Lviv — explores the image of the modern city woman within the reassuring rhythm of urban routine.

Always in motion, like an untamed bird, she plays with silhouettes while taking a fresh approach to classic forms and choosing comfortable, tactile materials such as wool, leather, suede, cashmere, and cotton. The shifting palette of grey, which serves as the collection’s dominant colour, is nuanced with beige, brown, burgundy, and ash violet, punctuated by vivid flashes of saturated green and the brand’s signature red — this season reimagined in the shade of a ripe cherry.

The key handbag debut of the season is Maggie, whose design reinterprets the classic doctor-bag silhouette. Meanwhile, the spring debuts Letizia and Ernestina baguettes return in textured leathers featuring artistic embossing.

At the heart of the footwear line are pointed-toe pumps: Jackie, developed from the brand’s iconic bootie silhouette, and the sharp-toed Tess, a striking new model built on an original custom last.

Ahead of a major anniversaryNext year, Kachorovska will celebrate its 20th anniversary. In anticipation of this milestone, the design team is revisiting the brand’s experience in bespoke atelier craftsmanship and looking to its own archives for inspiration.

The Atelier line brings together limited-edition capsules of signature bestsellers: the Rebecca baguette bag crafted using a patchwork technique, Leona sandals, and Bowly ballet sneakers, all finished with handcrafted decorative elements.
