SS27: Grains de Verre presentation
Devine and Dangerous is the new collection by Grains de Verre, comprising four pieces of jewelry and continuing the story of Sugar S Magic. Its main innovation is the brand’s take on face jewelry — objects that go beyond the conventional accessory to become tools of transformation.

The collection develops a dark sexy aesthetic, bringing together sensuality, mystery, and a sense of hidden danger. It was created as an invitation to allow yourself something bold and daring more often — in everyday life or even in private, exploring new facets of your personality.

The collection’s palette consists of red, black, white, and blue — colors of temptation, mystery, openness, and transformation. For the first time, the brand worked with plastic, while one of the most challenging pieces was a large necklace assembled entirely by hand from approximately one thousand beads.

The visual references for the collection were the surreal atmosphere of Mulholland Drive and Eyes Wide Shut. The imagined soundtrack of the collection is complete silence.

One of the masks features a scorpion. It is not the central symbol of the collection, but rather a subtle hint at its character — magnetic, intuitive, sensual, and potentially dangerous, much like the character of a Scorpio woman and the designer herself. At the same time, the detail offers a clue to a story that may perhaps continue in the brand’s next collection.
