SS26: the COAT by Katya Silchenko show

The COAT by Katya Silchenko closed Ukrainian Fashion Week, turning its finale into a historic event and setting the aftertaste of the Spring-Summer 2026 season.

The venue of the show was the KIT Pavilion at VDNG, which for one evening became the heart of Ukrainian fashion and a sanctuary of pure love. The collection itself by the COAT by Katya Silchenko is a dedication. A dedication to theater as a temple of devotion to art. A dedication to women and their beauty at any age and in any mood. A dedication to comfort, as it always comes first. A dedication to the desire and ability to celebrate life, no matter what.

The line can be compared to a relationship: at first, everything is a little uncertain and formless, but with a spark in the eyes — and later it takes shape, turning into a structured object of love.

Designer Katya Silchenko speaks to the audience through the language of shapes and textures. On the runway appeared sculptural jackets with a waistline emphasis adorned with fringe, voluminous cape coats with draping, jackets with feather-embellished stand-up collars, and figurative lace dresses with extended trains.

As always, the COAT elevates femininity — through fitted silhouettes, sheer fabrics, and romantic textures. The color palette of the collection is also carefully thought out: it features pink and blue, as well as brown and its various shades.

Special attention was drawn to accessories — in particular, the bags created in collaboration with the brand POELLE.

This season, the COAT by Katya Silchenko raises the bar of complexity and embellishment of its designs. Thus, alongside the familiar see now, buy now system and ready-to-wear pieces available in the boutique, the brand introduces pre-orders and bespoke demi-couture ensembles.

The finale of the COAT show — and, with it, the 57th season of Ukrainian Fashion Week as a whole — was the wedding of designer Katya Silchenko and Serhii Nekleva. The role of master of ceremonies was performed by Iryna Danylevska, co-founder and CEO of Ukrainian Fashion Week.
