The collaboration between Samsung and Ukrainian Fashion Week demonstrates how closely fashion and technology are becoming intertwined.

The foldable form factor opens up even more possibilities for technology to become part of one’s personal style.

This year, Samsung introduced three new foldable smartphones — the Galaxy Fold8 Ultra, Galaxy Fold8, and Galaxy Flip8. Each offers its own use scenarios, while all three combine functionality with a distinctive design.

The Galaxy Fold8 Ultra is designed for those who value multitasking: its large screen makes it convenient to work with multiple apps, spreadsheets, charts, and content simultaneously. The Galaxy Fold8 features an updated form factor and aspect ratio, making it comfortable for everyday use when folded while allowing users to fully immerse themselves in content when unfolded. The Galaxy Flip8 combines a compact form factor and stylish design with the capabilities of Galaxy AI and convenient scenarios for creating photos and videos — including the ability to take hands-free shots.

The Samsung and Ukrainian Fashion Week partnership in the SS27 season also brings this idea to life through the stories of people working at the intersection of fashion, creativity, and technology — Ukrainian Fashion Week co-founder Iryna Danylevska, designer and SPADSHCHYNA co-founder Yevheniia Lohai, model Tetiana Bryk, and photographer Anna Holtsberg. Yevheniia Lohai, designer and co-founder of SPADSHCHYNA, created a new piece for the brand using the Galaxy Fold8.

Throughout the creative process, Yevheniia used the smartphone to work with references, sketches, and creative ideas.

For photographer Anna Holtsberg, the Galaxy Fold8 Ultra has become a versatile tool combining camera, editing, and communication capabilities. Its large screen allows her to work comfortably with images, while the ability to edit content quickly helps her stay immersed in the creative process without interruption.

Iryna Danylevska, founder of Ukrainian Fashion Week, also shares her story. She has been using Galaxy Flip smartphones for several generations, and the form factor has long become part of her personal style and everyday life.

“I have been using the Galaxy Flip for several generations now, and I find it interesting to see how the smartphone evolves alongside my needs. At the same time, the most important thing remains unchanged — its form factor and character. The Flip has always been more than just a phone for me; it has been part of my look.
