FW26–27: SEROTONINN Show
The brand SEROTONINN presented a collection dedicated to integration into new societies. Founded by designer Lena Schnelle, who has lived in Germany for the past 15 years, the brand debuted last year at Copenhagen Fashion Week. Despite operating in Germany, the brand’s production, communication, team, and audience remain closely connected to Ukraine.

The FW26–27 collection, titled “Berlin,” reflects on the experience of living between two countries. At its core is the affirmation of oneself within a new society without losing one’s identity. The new release focuses on a bold, strong, and independent woman — one who admires herself and does not seek approval. The collection balances glamour and protest, sensuality and inner strength, aiming to expand contemporary perceptions of femininity.

“What Ukrainian women have experienced over the past four years resonates deeply with me. Emigration felt like life postponed — until I understood the new society and its values. Creativity, freedom, respect for individuality, tolerance for differences, and self-love helped me rediscover myself. I know where my home is and who I am. There hasn’t been a single day when I didn’t think about Kyiv. It was extremely important for me to present my collections in Ukraine,” says Lena.

Voluminous faux-fur coats, velvet corsets, semi-transparent mini dresses with a delicate sheen, and latex silhouettes form a provocative wardrobe — one that requires no explanation or justification. The combination of silk, velvet, fur, and eco-leather, together with bold accents such as open backs, sheer fabrics, and corsetry, creates a выразну, sensual collection defined by character and freedom of self-expression.
