FW26-27: Khrystyna Rachytska show

Life. Being. Child.

This is where the new collection by Khrystyna Rachytska begins — To Live.

The collection was born not from an idea, but from an inner necessity. From lived emotions and real events, amid challenges and despair… and even greater faith. From the choice to live. From the choice to create — despite everything and because of everything.

To Live is a choice of light even in the darkest times. Created during a period of тревога, холодних днів і постійної напруги — anxiety, cold days, and constant tension — the collection grows out of a daily decision not to give up. Clothing becomes a gesture of resistance, and beauty becomes a way of preserving oneself.

Each piece is handmade. The embroidery is based on authentic Ukrainian ornaments, integrated into contemporary silhouettes. Every garment holds memory, experience, and the continuity of generations. Natural silk has density and inner structure — it shapes the form and brings a sense of composure. Wool is light and soft — it wraps around the body, creating a feeling of protection and warmth. The combination of materials conveys wholeness, inner strength, and calmness that sustain us in the modern world.

The collection is complemented by necklaces made of antique mother-of-pearl and early 20th-century glass. These objects carry history within them — they remember other hands, other moments, other generations. In a contemporary context, they emphasize continuity and the connection between past and present.

Ukrainian culture is present as the foundation of the brand’s way of thinking. Research into ornaments, work with archival sources, hand embroidery, and careful attention to materials shape a modern form through a deep understanding of heritage. Tradition evolves with time, finding new expression in contemporary silhouettes. The pieces preserve meaning, while design ensures its relevance.

For Khrystyna Rachytska, To Live is a way to show that Ukrainian culture possesses strength, depth, and the ability to grow. Every detail, every silhouette, and every embroidery tells a story of life that continues, of culture that is passed on, and of light that lives within.

To live is a choice.
And we make it every day.
