FW25-26: Ready for Takeoff
The new season of Ukrainian Fashion Week FW25-26 is set to begin tomorrow in Kyiv, continuing its mission to support Ukrainian designers, develop the industry, and provide real assistance to those in need. Despite the challenges of wartime, Fashion Week in Ukraine’s capital remains a space of inspiration, unity, and innovation.

This season, Ukrainian Fashion Week FW25-26 features 56 events—ranging from runway shows and presentations to educational programs and charitable initiatives.
One of the key highlights of the season is NewGen Lab, a project encompassing 21 events. This platform is designed to support emerging designers, giving them a chance to showcase their creativity and share their vision for the future of fashion. Interest in NewGen Lab’s educational program is remarkable—over 800 attendees have already registered for just eight events.
A significant number of volunteers have joined Ukrainian Fashion Week FW25-26, with organizers receiving 1,626 applications, demonstrating the deep commitment of Ukrainians to the development of the fashion industry, even in difficult times.
This season, Ukrainian Fashion Week has invited four insiders from Ukraine’s fashion industry to cover the event and share their experiences on social media. They will not only capture the most striking moments but also immerse audiences in the FW25-26 atmosphere:
Day I: Fashion influencer, founder, and creative director of COOSH – Alina Frendiy
• Day II: Star fashion photographer and TV host – Sonya Plakidyuk
• Day III: Photographer and fashion influencer – Roman Forsyuk
• Day IV: Stylist and founder of the educational project MODETON – Olha Halushka
This season, Ukrainian Fashion Week continues to experiment with digital technologies, introducing VLGE, a platform that integrates virtual experiences into the fashion world. Some shows will take place in a VR format, pushing the boundaries of the traditional runway.

Although Ukrainian Fashion Week FW25-26 is just beginning, the “Faces of Heroes” charity initiative is already delivering tangible results. Thanks to the donations from guests and partners of Ukrainian Fashion Week, six Ukrainian defenders have received access to high-tech reconstructive surgeries, helping them regain a fulfilling life.
Among them:
• Vitalii Shevchenko – Final stage of facial reconstruction, creation of a dental prosthetic (funded by Jamemme)
• Dmytro Monets – Next stage of facial reconstruction, implantation of facial bones
• Serhii Pospolitak – Payment for the creation of a frontal implant for facial reconstruction
• Volodymyr Samoilov – Modeling and production of a dental prosthetic (funded by the project of Dmytro Rezvoi, Gordon Shamway, and Invictus Ocean/Row4Ukraine)
• Serhii Rizol – Surgery for metal osteosynthesis of the lower jaw
• Marine “Tatarin” – Installation of a special set for metal osteosynthesis of the midface area
As in the previous season, Ukrainian Fashion Week is not just about supporting Ukrainian designers—it is also about direct aid to wounded soldiers. Ukrainian Fashion Week continues to prove that fashion is not only about style but also about responsibility, unity, and national strength. It is a symbol of resilience, belief in the future, and limitless possibilities, even in the most challenging times.
