THE “CULTURE OF DESIGN” FINALISTS

Ukrainian Fashion Week and INTERTOP Ukraine, a fashion retailer, announced the finalists of The Culture of Design competition for young fashion designers. The winner will receive a prize of 150,000 hryvnias and be invited to develop a collection, which will be marketed via INTERTOP.

  • Iryna Luzhetska (Iryna Luzhetska brand) – “Be Yourself” collection
  • Alina Mazur (almaz.wear brand) – “Childlike” collection
  • Orysya Malyshko (malyshco brand) – “Echo of the Future” collection
  • Anastasia Navrotska (NAV brand)
  • Lilia Oliynyk (GENDERLESS brand)
  • Anastasia Polyukhovich (ISED brand) – “URBAN K” collection
  • Elizaveta Polyakova (VEta brand) – “EcoView” collection
  • Ekateryna Rozhdestvenska (GSK \ ROZHDESTVENSKAYA brand) – “Future Remade” collection
  • Vasilyna Saryk (Cantadora brand) – “Soft Power” collection
  • Maria Starchak (STARCHAK brand) – “Urban” collection Archetypes»

Our team received 59 applications from young designers. All contestants created sketches of the future collection, which will include 10 autumnal looks. 

The expert jury that decided on the shortlist included Serhiy Badritdinov, CEO of INTERTOP Ukraine; Iryna Danylevska, co-founder and CEO of Ukrainian Fashion Week; and Liliya Pustovit, designer and creative director of the POUSTOVIT brand. The winning designer’s mentor will be Volodymyr Podolyan, creative director of the PDLN brand.

The winner will be announced during the official Ukrainian Fashion Week program on February 16 at 5:40 PM in the NewGen Lab space at Mystetsky Arsenal.
