Digitalization and fashion: presentation of the educational project for designers from UFW and Epson

Epson together with Ukrainian Fashion Week are launching an educational project Epson Digital Fashion Lab for young designers. The presentation of the project will take place on 5th September at 4 p.m. within UFW. The event will be joined by: Iryna Danilevska, co-founder of Ukrainian Fashion Week, Volodymyr Podolyan, founder of the PODOLYAN brand, Kyrylo Kharitontsev, founder of the Kir Khartley brand, and Yulia Sokolova, marketing manager of Epson Europe B.V. in Ukraine.

Epson Digital Fashion Lab is an educational project founded for Ukrainian, yet unknown designers, beginners in the fashion industry, specialized students or university graduates from all over Ukraine. Participation in the competition is free, but the number of places is limited, there are 20 participants. Education starts on September 25.

Participants will learn to develop their own brands` collections, gain knowledge in marketing, legal aspects for designers and learn how to promote new collections. Among the teachers will be experts from the fashion world industry and marketing. The creative curator of the project is Kyrylo Kharitontsev, administrative curator of the project from UFW is Alexandra Kakurina.

The outcome of education will be the development of collections by students of the Epson Digital Fashion Lab with a subsequent presentation UFW in winter will be the result of education.
