Designer Viktor Anisimov was born in the north of Ukraine. He studied at a military school, after which he settled in Donetsk, where he created his eponymous brand VIKTORANISIMOV. He lived there until 2014, when Russians destabilized the region. Seeking a quieter life, Viktor moved to Kyiv and continued working on the brand.
Given Viktor’s military background, his collections always have a special military touch, whether through camouflage patterns or design elements inspired by military equipment.
The endless possibilities of military clothing are always revealed in Viktor Anisimov’s work. The concept of versatility is an integral part of the brand’s DNA, which encourages the designer to develop clothes with different functions.
In June 2022, the VIKTORANISIMOV brand was presented at the Ukrainian Fashion Now pavilion during the world-famous Pitti Uomo menswear exhibition in Florence. In 2023, Viktor decided to make significant changes by starting to work with more sustainable materials that are less harmful to the environment. The brand’s first sustainable collection was presented as part of the official presentation schedule during Copenhagen Fashion Week SS24.
