Antonina Belinska is the creative director and designer of the TONIA brand, as well as a stylist, artist, and costume designer. Antonina was born in Kamianets-Podilskyi and graduated from the Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design. She has been working in the film industry for 20 years, specializing in researching various historical periods.
In 2017, Antonina established her own bureau, Belinska Cinema Costume, to work on major film projects presented at the Cannes Film Festival. Among Belinska’s achievements are the creation of costumes for the Christmas episode of the British series Holby City (BBC), the Ukrainian fantasy film “The Stronghold” (2017), the American-Ukrainian film “The Rising Hawk” (2019), one of the highest-rated Ukrainian series “Servant of the People” (2019), and the series “Cossacks: Absolutely False History” (2020), acquired by Netflix.
In 2022, Tonia gained experience working with Danish filmmakers, including on the set of the series “Agent,” which premiered at the Berlin Film Festival in 2023. Also in Belinska’s portfolio is her work on the historical film “Bastard,” starring the famous Danish actor Mads Mikkelsen, known for his roles in “Casino Royale,” “Doctor Strange,” “Another Round,” and “Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore.”
In 2023, Tonia launched her own fashion label, TONiA, with the presentation of the first collection, “Entropy,” in July 2023 in Kyiv. Her clothing is designed to inspire the exploration of the nature of female sexuality.
