UFW SS25: SIDLETSKIY show
SIDLETSKIY introduces a new collection inspired by a combination of modern trends and centuries-old cultural heritage. Designer Igor Sidletskiy draws inspiration from historical crafts, traditional handmade and natural materials to create unique looks. A special emphasis is placed on the harmony of opposites: strict architectural forms and light, semi-weighty fabrics.
The collection includes the brand’s iconic pieces that reflect SIDLETSKIY’s commitment to its values. Among them are architecturally cut double-collared trench coats, strict jackets and delicate dresses. In the new collection, the designer uses hand knitting and traditional weaving, which emphasizes craftsmanship and attention to detail.. The use of natural colors adds a touch of restraint and sophistication to the pieces.
“I wanted to create models that combine modern trends with our rich cultural heritage. This was originally part of the DNA of our brand, so it is important for us to continue and emphasize authenticity in what we do,” says Igor Sidletsky, designer of the brand.
The new collection reflects a fusion of intricate shapes, handcrafted materials and natural colors. The brand is often inspired by the past and strives to continue the culture and Ukrainian traditions. The looks are complemented by jewelry made of blown glass, traditional Ukrainian accessories, reflected through the brand’s vision. Each piece in the collection demonstrates handmade craftsmanship and traditions, including weaving and hand knitting. This is evidenced by the jacket and skirt, made entirely by hand using ancient techniques that combine modern silhouettes and ancient traditions.
The SIDLETSKIY’s unique signature is a balance between modernity and heritage.
