Ukrainian Fashion Week has partnered with INTERTOP Ukraine to launch “The Culture of Design” project to support young designers. The winner will receive a grant of 150,000 hryvnias and the opportunity to create a collection to be showcased in a major retail store.

The Culture of Design is a program for designers with up to 7 years of industry experience. Participants are invited to create a capsule collection intended for a broad audience. Each contestant must develop ten looks for the fall season.

The winner will be chosen by an expert jury that includes Serhiy Badritdinov, the CEO of INTERTOP Ukraine; Iryna Danylevska, co-founder and CEO of Ukrainian Fashion Week; and Lilia Poustovit, designer and creative director of the POUSTOVIT brand. In addition to receiving a financial reward, the winner will have the opportunity to sell their collection of clothing, shoes, and accessories at the INTERTOP retail chain.

The selected designer will receive mentorship from PDLN’s creative director, Volodymyr Podolyan, to finalize the collection with all technical details considered.
