SS26: Vorozhbyt&Zemskova show

The theme of the city and its multifaceted shades has always been at the core of the DNA of Vorozhbyt&Zemskova. It is the metropolis—with its contrasts, energy, and ever-changing rhythm—that inspires designers Olena Vorozhbyt and Tetyana Zemskova. Their new collection is yet another interpretation of the urban code, where each piece embodies the spirit of modern life.

The key feature of the line is the richness of textures and bold material combinations. Voluminous fur meets delicate Chantilly lace, heavy wool coat fabrics blend with airy silk organza, while graphic pleats, knitwear, and leather add structure. Fabrics with metallic coatings create the effect of mirrored surfaces and skyscraper windows, while glossy finishes evoke wet asphalt after rain. These are juxtaposed with soft velvety textures—like the comforting warmth you find in a city of concrete and glass.

The color palette traces a path from black to white, with every shade of grey in between. Geometric motifs—diamonds, herringbone, and classic checks—enhance associations with the architectural rhythms of the big city.

Silhouettes are once again built on contrasts, a theme running throughout the collection: oversized reversible coats paired with miniature fur tops, wide skirts and trousers balanced by delicate jackets, and massive blazers and coats set against airy dresses and sundresses made of organza and lace. In these pairings, the designers’ main message becomes clear—the duet of transparency and density, lightness and strength. The finishing touch is bold accessories: metal rings, chains, and shiny fastenings.

This collection reflects the dynamic pulse of contemporary life. Encoded within it are everyday emotions: the desire to hide away and stay warm, or, on the contrary, the urge to open up to the sun, freedom, and new horizons.
