SS26: SIDLETSKIY show

Ukrainian brand SIDLETSKIY presented the SS26 collection “Identity” at Ukrainian Fashion Week.

This collection is a story about strength and renewal, about human resilience and the rethinking of one’s identity in times of transformation. At its core, “Identity” combines architectural forms and contemporary silhouettes with reinterpreted elements of Ukrainian craftsmanship. The collection speaks through constructive lines and textures that reflect inner power, harmony, and the search for a new balance.

The pieces are crafted from natural and recycled materials, with a strong focus on handwork and attention to detail. Contemporary tailoring is integrated with traditional techniques, while functional solutions create looks that unite aesthetics with practicality.

A key focus of the collection is adaptive design for people with prosthetics — symbolizing inclusivity and a new sensitivity in fashion. As part of the show, the brand unveiled a collaboration with U+ System, a center specializing in prosthetics for Ukrainian veterans. Together, they created garments with functional features adapted to the needs of people with prosthetics.

This collaboration was powerfully presented on the runway by six Ukrainian servicemen, each showcasing adaptive looks designed for prosthetic wearers. Their presence became a symbol of strength, courage, and the idea that contemporary fashion can be not only aesthetic but also functional and inclusive.

The brand also introduced a collection of accessories made from recycled glass using the ancient technique of blown glass, where traditional craft is reimagined with a modern voice and aligned with the principles of responsible design.

“Identity” SS26 is a powerful narrative about beauty, strength, and a new ethics shaping the future of Ukrainian fashion.
