“Art of Generations”: Exhibition of Works by Mykola Samokysh and Jewelry by SAMOKISH

The exhibition is dedicated to the dialogue of generations, bringing together the paintings of the renowned Ukrainian artist Mykola Samokysh and contemporary jewelry by his relative, designer Kateryna Basovska, inspired by family heritage.

Guests will see reproductions of the artist’s works alongside original jewelry pieces created exclusively for this exhibition. Each artwork resonates with the jewelry objects, forming a new dimension of perception: from the dynamics of battle scenes to the refined motifs of Ukrainian ornamentation.

“This exhibition is not only about art but also about continuity. I wanted to show how the energy of my relative’s paintings can live on in the modern world through form, metal, and jewelry,” notes the designer behind the SAMOKISH brand.

The exhibition explores the theme of memory and modernity, where the past appears not as a museum artifact but as a living source of inspiration for new creations.
