SS26: Khrystyna Rachytska show
“Enrooting” is more than just a word; it is both a state and a process, a source of life itself. It is the moment when a seed touches the ground, takes root and grows stronger, eventually becoming the foundation from which new life blossoms. The rooted life is a lasting one: it keeps us connected to the past while nourishing the future. This connection shapes our spirituality, informs our values, and defines our worldview and identity.

The apple tree is the main symbol of the collection. Like a rooted mother plant, it goes through its year-long cycle, from the soft blossoming of spring to the ripe fruit of autumn. In the same way, this collection lasts a year and reveals itself in two phases: in spring with white and milky shades, floral ornaments and delicate branches, then in autumn with deep ochre tones, dense shapes and rich textures reminiscent of juicy apples.
“Our mission is to showcase the richness of Ukrainian traditional attire in a contemporary interpretation while preserving the art of hand embroidery as a bridge between the past and the future. It is our cultural heritage that belongs to the whole world,” says Khrystyna Rachytska, the brand’s founder and designer.

Staying true to her signature style, Khrystyna Rachytska unveils a new collection of womenswear crafted exclusively from natural fabrics. Linen and silk pieces are adorned with intricate hand embroidery using traditional techniques, called “Hlad” and “Nyzynka”. Materials commonly found in traditional Ukrainian jewellery, such as wax, brass, garnet, amber, glass and enamel, are used to complement each look.
Guided by ancestral heritage, this collection celebrates the continuous life cycle, where memories, knowledge and experience are passed down through generations.
