LEM FW25-26

“Fashion is more than just clothing—it is art, a profound form of expression,” says Georgian designer Pridon Niguriani as he unveils the LEM FW25-26 collection.

With this latest collection, designer masterfully intertwines fashion and art, presenting each piece as a canvas that blurs the boundaries between these two realms. Aptly named “Fashion is Art,” the collection embodies the inseparable connection between artistic vision and design.

Pridon’s inspiration for this collection stems from his profound appreciation for art. A stroll through the Gallerie d’Italia sparked the initial vision, but the true muse lies closer to home – in his community of talented artists. Engaging with these creatives, exchanging ideas, and finding fresh perspectives shaped the collection’s essence, imbuing it with authenticity and vibrancy.

The creative journey of “Fashion is Art” began with literal artistry. Each piece features hand-painted elements crafted by professional artists. Whimsical motifs – delicate female portraits, tiny flowers, and exquisitely rendered wild animals – emerge as central artistic themes, transforming clothing into wearable masterpieces.

Pridon also drew inspiration from the gallery experience itself, particularly the ornate frames that elevate each painting into a cohesive work of art. This concept is cleverly echoed in the collection, where prints are adorned with golden frames. These visual accents not only highlight the garments’ artwork but also redefine the contours of coats and trenches, making them feel like living, breathing paintings.
