Ukrainian Fashion Week and Kyiv Design Week join forces to demonstrate the power of Ukrainian design.

Community and unification. The exploration of differences and reinforcement of similarities. New accents, new points of contact, new horizons for movement. Design is inextricably linked to development, taking on challenges, making life comfortable and more beautiful, removing barriers, and respecting boundaries.

Common challenges and vision united Ukrainian Fashion Week SS25 and Kyiv Design Week. We combine our efforts to create a space for interaction and inspire change and research in the creative industry. We aim to better understand the city and its people through the universal language that we know best. Our cooperation proves that fashion and design are a single stream of creative thought that takes different forms.

Kyiv Design Week will invite designers from different fields to present their work and communicate with one another. Kyiv is waiting for exuberant days of creativity and exchange of experiences, immersed with inspiring discussions for moving forward. One of the centers of this creative collaboration will be the “Freedom Design” space by KDW at the Main Location of UFW SS25.

“Freedom Design” is a trend zone at the UFW’s SS25 main location, created in cooperation between Kyiv Design Week and the IK-architects bureau. The exhibition will manifest strength, professionalism, thirst for knowledge, and unity. This is a reflection of reality, in which every creator, in one way or another, rethinks the most important definitions of design. Now, every Ukrainian is a designer and creator of a free future.

At the intersections of various design spectrums, you will find both new and beloved objects of Ukrainian brands. The list includes VOZIANOV, Kachorovska, ZAVOD, FURN Object, GAEVA, MÜ store, YaKUSH, DIZA, DONNA, SOLOMIA, MAPICO, Pink Gentle Clouds, Fayina Yerenburh and craft workshops Medovi Svichky, Guculiya, SHABALTAS. There, guests will be able to learn about the research of UFEG, OSTRIV, Risodentsia, Schooll of Art × Craft students and residents and get to know about the most significant wartime publications from Projector publishing, СP publishing, ist publishing, MacPaw, ArtHuss.

In times of war, unity is of the utmost importance. It is a manifestation of life. Together, we work, create, and learn. Ukrainian Fashion Week and Kyiv Design Week will form a wide platform for reflection and creative interaction, for dialogue between citizens and creatives.
