J’AMEMME and KHRYSTYNA RACHYTSKA x LuisaViaRoma
Ukrainian brands J’AMEMME and KHRYSTYNA RACHYTSKA presented their collections at the LuisaViaRoma flagship store in New York. The event, dedicated to Ukrainian fashion design, was part of a collaboration between Rock Projects and LuisaViaRoma New York.

This partnership strengthens cultural dialogue between Ukraine and the United States, opening access to the American fashion market for Ukrainian designers and introducing the distinct aesthetic of Ukrainian fashion to the international audience.
For the special installation, J’AMEMME showcased its signature architectural silhouettes — including the iconic white pleated dress — as well as new interpretations of its most recognizable pieces. The brand also presented two looks from its SS26 collection recently shown at Ukrainian Fashion Week: a black sheer corset dress and an organza set featuring a blue corset top paired with a red ballet-style skirt.
“For us, this is truly an important step toward entering the American market,” says Yulia Yarmolyuk, designer of J’AMEMME.

KHRYSTYNA RACHYTSKA presented its collection “Rooting,” centered around the symbolic image of an apple tree. The looks, crafted from linen and silk, are adorned with traditional hand-embroidery techniques, including satin stitch and nyzynka. Each outfit is complemented by accessories made from authentic materials such as brass, garnet, amber, glass, enamel, and wax. The collection’s palette features deep blacks and earthy tones, reflecting the enduring connection of Ukrainians to their land.
“One antique embroidered shirt can become the foundation for an entire contemporary collection,” notes designer Khrystyna Rachytska.

The presentation was attended by editors from WWD, L’Officiel USA, and Grazia USA, as well as influencers Nil Sani, Simona Andrejic, and Isan Elba, alongside industry professionals. The event became a platform for building new professional connections and deepening the dialogue between Ukrainian design and the American fashion community.
