FW26–27: ANTICIPATING THE START

The new season of Ukrainian Fashion Week FW26–27 will start in Kyiv later this week. The 58th season is dedicated to innovative and sustainable approaches by Ukrainian designers. It is a season where fashion becomes a space where responsibility and awareness meet powerful creative energy.

For 29 years, Ukrainian Fashion Week has remained the main platform for the development of Ukrainian fashion — a space where new ideas, values, and meanings are born. Despite all the challenges of the full-scale war, Ukrainian brands not only preserve their teams and businesses but also develop innovative approaches, shaping a resilient ecosystem for the national fashion industry.

Ukrainian Fashion Week FW26–27 will include 50 events in various formats — runway shows and presentations, a tradeshow, Re-See sessions, and a lecture program.

This season, Ukrainian Fashion Week has invited six insiders from the Ukrainian fashion industry to cover shows, presentations, and special events on social media.

Day I: the official ambassador will be Ukrainian fashion influencer Ivanka Khoma.

Day II: the ambassador will be Ukrainian producer, LGBTQ+ activist, Head of Originals at Sweet.tv and Big Entertainment Shows Volodymyr Zavaduk.

Day III: the official ambassador will be Ukrainian fashion influencer Alisa Fetisova.

Day IV: the ambassadors will be fashion influencers Nastia Poberezhna and Anna Pohribniak.

Joining the team of insiders will also be Kateryna Popova — the guest editor of the Ukrainian Fashion Week Telegram channel. During FW26–27 shows, the fashion journalist, former editor-in-chief of Harper’s Bazaar Ukraine and ELLE Ukraine, and author of the Telegram channel Fashion Department, will cover the key events and behind-the-scenes moments of the Fashion Week.

Ambassadors and invited insiders will share their impressions with audiences, immersing them in the atmosphere of Fashion Week in the heart of the Ukrainian capital — taking place despite the difficult circumstances the country is currently living through.

This season, Ukrainian Fashion Week is launching the Re-See format. At Mystetskyi Arsenal, media, buyers, and guests will have the opportunity to explore brand collections in greater detail immediately after the shows. The Re-See format allows viewers to experience the collections beyond the dynamics of the runway and focus on the details, materials, and design decisions that shape each look.

Ukrainian Fashion Week continues to prove that fashion is not only about style, but also about responsibility, unity, and the strength of a nation. It is a symbol of resilience, belief in the future, and limitless possibilities even in the most challenging times.
