On March 16, a presentation dedicated to the film The Devil Wears Prada 2 — the long-awaited continuation of the культ classic story about fashion, ambition, and impeccable style — took place at Mystetskyi Arsenal as part of Ukrainian Fashion Week.

The event was timed to coincide with the country’s main fashion week, as the film — just like its legendary predecessor The Devil Wears Prada — immerses audiences in the glamorous and uncompromising world of the fashion industry.

A themed photo zone and a photo booth styled after the film were set up at the venue, allowing guests to take pictures inspired by its iconic aesthetic.

Among the guests were dancer Nataliia Tatarintseva, gymnast Oleh Verniaiev, actresses Veronika Mishaieva-Yakovleva and Viktoriia Bilan, creator and director Marharyta Zavalko, TV presenter Olena Filonova, singer Mariia Burmaka, as well as participants of the 13th season of the TV show The Bachelor Veronika Doroshko, and participants of the 14th season Yana Andriienko and Diana Zotova.

During the event, the film distribution company Kinomania Film Distribution announced that well-known Ukrainian designers would participate in the Ukrainian dubbing of the film, including Kateryna Silchenko, founder and designer of the brand the COAT. In the film, Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt, and Stanley Tucci return to the fashionable streets of New York and the impeccably stylish offices of the magazine Runway magazine from The Devil Wears Prada almost twenty years later.

The sequel, which became defining for an entire generation, once again brings together director David Frankel and screenwriter Aline Brosh McKenna, while also introducing a range of new vibrant characters.

The film will be released in Ukrainian cinemas on April 30. The film’s distributor in Ukraine is Kinomania Film Distribution.
