FW26-27: DARJA DONEZZ show
The brand Darja Donezz is known for its romantic collections that embody femininity and mysterious elegance. Designer Daria Donets builds her creative approach on constant research — museum archives, antique techniques, vintage materials, as well as nature and the universe in all their beauty. Fantasy and allegory are not only sources of inspiration for the designer, but also the very principle behind the creation of her garments. That is why this season Donets has chosen as the theme of the collection perhaps the most famous allegorical tale of all — Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s The Little Prince.

The story of the Little Prince, who travels across different planets in space and eventually visits Earth, is a meditation on loneliness, friendship, love, and loss.
“For me, this is a story about inner light and the value of uniqueness. The phrase ‘All grown-ups were once children…’ speaks about the woman of today. She may be strong and rational, yet inside, she still carries that part of herself that believes and feels more deeply. Yellow is a symbol of this light. And the rose is an image of love, responsibility, and the choice of one among thousands. To me, it is a metaphor for a woman — tender and vulnerable, yet proud and strong. Femininity should not be convenient,” says Daria Donets.

The new Darja Donezz line is about celebration as an inner state. Not about a special occasion, but about an exceptional way of perceiving life: being present in reality while seeing more in it, not escaping the ordinary but filling it with meaning. In a world that constantly strives to simplify and structure everything, it is important to preserve individuality. It is differences that create movement and change.
The story of roses resonates especially strongly in this collection: there are many of them, and they are similar and beautiful. The brand remains true to itself — to its style, rhythm, sensuality, and its path. The shell appears in the collection as a guiding sign — a symbol of beginnings, memory, and forward movement; a reminder of where everything starts and where one longs to return.

“You become responsible, forever, for what you have tamed” — the famous quote from Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s philosophical tale, when the Fox teaches the Little Prince what it means to “tame” someone. “For me, it is also about choice. We are responsible for what we create and for what we choose to wear. Clothing is an extension of one’s inner position. Sometimes it sounds quiet, and sometimes loud enough to be heard. This collection is about the light within, about depth, and about the right to be unique,” says Daria Donets.
It is not about “being special.” It is about choosing to be that way — and refusing to simplify yourself.
