FW25-26: KARAVAY presentation

On February 17, Ukrainian brand KARAVAY opened its studio doors to the professional fashion community, presenting the NEOCLASSIC_set 2 collection as part of the official schedule of Ukrainian Fashion Week. The intimate format of the event combined live communication with designer Iryna Karavay and a demonstration of the studio’s latest design developments.

KARAVAY’s philosophy is “thinking through objects.” Each item in the collection carries value not only as an aesthetic item but also as the result of skilled work and careful use of resources. The brand remains faithful to its “refined ethno” aesthetics – a rethinking of ethnic motifs in new materials, forms, and functions. KARAVAY’s signature embroidered pieces, made of fine wool, are presented in unusual designs: knee-highs, shirts, and double-breasted mini-jackets that can be worn alone or layered over sweaters or blouses. The embroidered taffeta jacket is complemented by a shirt collar and zips up like a bomber jacket. The embroidered jacket, adorned with wavy natural wool patterns, serves as an embroidered outerwear option. The coat with a bustle refers to the pleats on traditional Ukrainian women’s outerwear – kersetka coats.

The decor is executed with utmost chic: tone-on-tone stitching, precise pleats, and crystal inlays create expressive textures without overwhelming the looks. NEOCLASSIC_set 2 confirms the values of KARAVAY: attention to detail, impeccable tailoring, and preserving the value of bespoke design.
