Winner of Sci-Fi Safari 2018 – Czech young best fashion talent
In my design I dare for arbitrariness. I like observing the world “as-it-is”. I look for the aesthetic in the imperfect. This approach has materialized in my collections such as Un/common, Icelandic Wind(ow), Sketch, Windy, Blue Sky and Frost. I look for resemblances between natural phenomena and a certain character of a textile material. The outcome is a 3D metaphor. My objective is to combine ne art with applied one. I use local resources, aim for durability and quality of the processing. My own handwork is often behind the whole process: from the yarn to a wearable piece. My satisfaction for what I do comes from my clients, who are happy wearing the clothes I design for them. The recent collection is about beautiful northern lights, never ending snow, frost and gloomy skies. It is inspired by far away Iceland. I don’t try to predict the future. I don’t know what tomorrow will bring, but I am tuned to accept it and opened for new opportunities. I hope that people would become more responsible and more thoughtful about their choice for what they wear.
