The participation of 11 designers from Ukraine was supported by the EBRD and Switzerland under the EBRD’s Small Business Impact Fund*.

On October 5th Ukrainian brands OVERALL, AISENBERG and FINCH presented SS23 collections in Brussels. On October 6th were held fashion shows of SAYYA and GURANDA and the performance of DZHUS brand. JULIYA KROS, GASANOVA, UBERLOVE, CHUPRINA and SVITLO had fashion shows on October 7th.

“Ukrainian Fashion Week is going through the most difficult season in its 25 years of existence. We did everything so that Ukrainian designers would not lose it. Ten Fashion Weeks welcomed Ukrainian designers only within the “Support Ukrainian Fashion” Initiative by Ukrainian Fashion Week. There were also shows of our designers in New York, Milan, Paris… In this tragic time for Ukraine and the whole world, fashion demonstrates not only diversity, inclusiveness, sustainability and freedom. Fashion demonstrates solidarity and commitment to humanistic and democratic values. Thank you to all colleagues for supporting Ukraine!” – Iryna Danylevska, founder and CEO of Ukrainian Fashion Week.

The 51st season of Ukrainian Fashion Week has become international. Fashion shows and presentations of Ukrainian designers have already taken place at Malta Fashion Week, Copenhagen Fashion Week (digital cooperation), Budapest Central European Fashion Week, Berlin Fashion Week, Transilvania Fashion Festival, Vienna Fashion Week, MBFW Madrid (digital cooperation) and Brussels Fashion Week. This week there will also be a collective fashion show of Ukrainian sustainable brands at Vegan Fashion Week in Los Angeles.

*The participation of 11 designers from Ukraine is supported by the EBRD and funded by Switzerland through the EBRD’s Small Business Impact Fund (donors to the SBIF are Italy, Japan, Korea, Luxemburg, Sweden, Switzerland, US, TaiwanBusiness – EBRD Technical Cooperation Fund and Norway).
