International Young Designers Contest
Ukraine hosted the first in Eastern and Central Europe International Young Designers Contest.
This important international project, the main result of which is the creation of an effective model for the successful integration of young talented designers of European countries into the world of fashion industry, brought together participants from 9 countries: Georgia, Estonia, Lithuania, Moldova, Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Ukraine and the Czech Republic. All of them are the winners and prizewinners of national competitions in their countries, which ensured the objectivity of selection and high level of participants in the International Young Designers Contest.
The members of the Contest’s jury board were the recognized international experts from USA, Italy, Spain and Japan.
The International Jury chose a winner of the contest. The winner became designer from Estonia Carol Ott (Cärol Ott) .
The contest was supported by the Kyiv City State Administration.
Especially for International Young Designers Contest over 20 representatives of authoritative international fashion sources and journalists from participating countries were invited.
The Office of Tourism and Promotion of the Kyiv City State Administration, Ukraine International Airlines and Boryspil International Airport contributed to the arrival of international media and the organization of the competition as a whole.
The first design hotel in Ukraine - "11 Mirrors" hosted the jury members of the contest. Its atmosphere is ideal for both work and recreation.
A new hotel Aloft Kiev hosted international press and teams of competitors of International Young Designers Contest. Aloft Kiev became a true fashion house of the contest, where lectures, workshops, fittings and a lot of others events were held.
The final show of the contest and the announcement ceremony were held in the Kyiv City Council building.
Alla Kostromichova, Ukrainian model and the host of "Top model po Ukrainski", and Yegor Gordeyev, host of the "Breakfast with 1 + 1" show, hosted the International Designers Contest. DJ K-TAT accompanied all the events of the competition on Khreshchatyk. And Viktoria Zubenko became the director of the final show of the competition.

TSUM Kyiv Department Store was the unique place of several significant events during the International Young Designers Contest, in particular, an exhibition of sketches of participants and an unforgettable afterparty contest, which was created by DOR Sparkling Wine and DJ Kenziro.
ESTEL Ukraine created hairstyles of models that took part in the show. The trendy make-up of the models was created by the make-up partner of the contest, Graftobian.

Partners of the International Young Designers Contest prize fund were Ukrainian Fashion Week, IED and Yelizaveta Yurusheva, a business woman, owner of Fairmont Grant Hotel Kyiv and founder of charity foundation “Choosing our future together”.
