Ukrainian Fashion Week and British Council Announce Open Call For Designers

Ukrainian Fashion Week in partnership with British Council announces the new open call for the next edition Fashion DNA: Ukraine – series of business workshops by British mentors.
Fashion DNA is a joint programme of Ukrainian Fashion Week and the British Council Ukraine founded in 2015. The programme is run in partnership with London Fashion Week, the British Fashion Council and London College of Fashion. Designers that participated in the programme have showed their collections within London Fashion Week already twice. The programme seeks to identify, celebrate and support emerging talented fashion designers and promote their international links and experience.
In 2017-18 Fashion DNA: Ukraine aims to equip emerging Ukrainian designers with skills and knowledge of sales, particularly e-commerce, and apply this knowledge in a creative context through a digital project. UK experts and creatives will be involved in each stage of the project from selection to the launch of a digital activation.

DEADLINE: 29th of September
Only prêt-a-porter emerging brands are applicable to open call (up untill 6 years on the market), with the operational minimum of 1 year, and and with ideally 1-2 existing stockists.
Selection of the designers is completed by International department of Ukrainian Fashion Week and British Council. Results will be announced in October 2017.
