Olga Sushko, the Lifestyle Editor of Vogue Ukraine, has become the main character of the Story of a Dress by PODOLYAN.
The story of Olga and Vladymyr meeting has started long time ago, but they got to know each other more well last summer in Madrid. Supporting Louis Vuitton philosophy Olga believes that travelling connects people. “Vladymyr came to Madrid to enjoy the architecture and gardens and to find an inspiration, and me – to prepare a material about the city and royal Ritz Madrid hotel. That evening we were eating, drinking, talking a lot without pauses about travelling, world, food, fashion, dresses, love and hate. It was easy to talk as we could find many common topics” - Olga remembers. The next day Olga moved to Africa, to the Zambia capital, Lusaka. “For me making a decision on trip and buying tickets even to the most unsuitable country is a question of two hours. My goal is to find the most exciting things, to see and describe them. To be the mirror, if you want.”
Olga agreed with Vladymyr on their future meeting after returning from Africa in advance.
That’s what happened - they again were dinning, talking a lot and sharing new impressions. “My emotions and impressions are reflected in my materials and photos, - Olga mentions, – whereas Vladymyr’s emotions are reflected in the dresses, and each dress has its own individual story.”
