RITO Fall-Winter 2012-2013 collection by their designer Anna Panchenko is inspired by the city looks. Night and morning megapolis prints embellish jersey clothes. The spirit of the collection reflects the style preferred by megapolis dwellers, so the collection offers looks for both – weekdays and weekends, office meetings and cocktail parties, namely multifunctional models of sweaters and tunics, straight dresses, long skirts, leggings, cardigans and golf-sweaters, soft jersey trousers and skinny jeans. Traditionally for the fashion house the collection is multifunctional and inspiring for combinations. High gloves make it possible to wear short-sleeve-items even in winter, jeans with attached jersey legwarmers can be worn both – like jeans trousers in high boots or as capri-jeans without legwarmers, whereas pullover-collars easily transform into scarves.
“Everything seems dark in winter: dark clothes, grey streets with no sun. That’s why we decided to add bright colours to the collection”, - says the designer. The colour-family of the collection is inspired by Piet Mondrian’s paintings. Bright splashes of yellow, red, white and blue animate basic grey and black colours. The graphics of the Dutch abstractionist is also reflected in the collection through geometrical patterns on decorative parts. “This squares and rectangles are like the windows of the night city. Some windows are lit by happiness, others by love or by a magic blue light. Have a more thorough look around and you will see that the reality is not so grey after all”, - tells Anna Panchenko.
