Autumn Essay “The Wind Has Fingers of Beethoven”
On April 23 Ukrainian brand ELENA GOLETS brand presented autumn/winter 2013-14 collection in Arcane Art Gallery. ARCANE ART Gallery is a platform for presentation and communication for everyone interested in Objective Art.
Ukrainian designer Elena Golets was creating her new collection listening to classic music. The style of the collection reflects the world where unrestrained passion neighbours with philosophy of moderate. For autumn days and business meetings the designer offers complicated-cut-dresses (moulage technique), fantastic geometric skirts in wool crepe, voluminous trousers, complicated-cut-coats decorated with geometric patterns and specially-cut metal bars. For a night out the designer offers to challenge femininity: in her collection she combines a dress with a tuxedo, a luxurious streaming maxi-skirt with a man-style shirt. According to the designer, elegant luxury together with strict male style make the woman exquisitely attractive.
The designer created her collection in bright yellow-black, light grass-green, coffee, copper, sea-wave and elegant white color variations.
Traditionally designer Elena Golets presented “man’s mini-wardrobe”: classic blazer, velvet casual blazer, tuxedo, tail-coat, raglan-coat, double-breasted coat-jacket and close-fitting coat. Impeccable quality of the clothes and attention to each tiniest detail together with ancient technologies and contemporary cut equal ELENA GOLETS garments to the garments by renowned Italian Menswear brands.
A skirt made of 1300 petals incrusted with 13 000 Swarovski gems amazed the guests of the event.
The show of the woman’s line was crowned by an amazing dress: the designer was inspired by masterpieces by Galyna Moskvitina exhibited in Arcane Art Gallery. After the show the guests could enjoy the vocal of genius opera diva Olena Grebenyuk. The after-party of the show was hosted by “Babel” restaurant (Partner of the event).
