This autumn/winter collection is called Closet. This season is about incorporating key pieces that each women should have into their seasonal wardrobe. Designer Svitlana Bevza was inspired by her hometown of Kyiv. Key pieces include a floral printed jacket that is a print of a photo she took on her iPhone of the Kyiv National Botanic Garden in autumn. Returning this season are Bevza's FAUX REALITY fur coats. Bevza puffy coats are at first glance the literal classic feminine long luxe "fur” coat, but close up are a sporty puffer in a trompe l'oeil print. The jackets contain no animal fur or goose feathers, only down alternative and printed nylon, introducing coats inspired by Grace Kelly's mink coat and Freddie Mercury's silver fox coat from the music video "Killer Queen." Bevza's signature white dresses and square shaped shoulders will be once again present this season, taking on an athletic flair, by introducing leg warmers inspired by a Ukranian morning gymnastics TV show “rhytmika” that Svetlana watched as a kid. Earrings are inspired by old times when they would pierce the ear with needle and thread and kept the thread in until the ear healed.
