"NIGHT IN LISBON". KATERINA RUTMAN FW21 DEMI COUTURE
Tuesday, 15 September 2020

The theme of art runs like a red thread through all the collections of KATERINA RUTMAN, and this time it merged with the natural element. The stormy energy of the Atlantic Ocean and the graceful beauty of the Pyrenees are embodied in the details and silhouettes of dresses, suits and tops, created according to all the canons of demi couture. Floral motifs and aristocratic mood - references to the famous family residence of the family of the Marquis De Fronteira Palácio Fronteira in Lisbon, which the designer visited during her trip.
The geometry in the cut is combined with smooth lines. Flashes of bright fabric, passing from one image to another, hint at the inseparable connection of the collection with art. Key models: cocktail and evening dresses, tops with buff sleeves, free-cut blouses. Color palette: dramatic black, bright shade of sangria, white. Materials: jacquard from wool with organza, taffeta, eco leather, silk, wool. The decor uses elegant pearls to emphasize the theme of the Portuguese coast. The heroine of KATERINA RUTMAN is an unusual woman, she has a mystery and a zest, she wants to look at her as a masterpiece…
